Spotify Cabs
The purpose of a cab is to get you from A to B. This provides little room for cab companies to differentiate themselves and stand out from the rest of the market. Why would a passenger want to catch one cab over another when they are both the same price?
One Taxi company in Berlin may have the answer. Taxi Berlin have collaborated with Spotify to create a more personal cab ride for their passengers. Via Bluetooth the passenger’s Smartphone connects to the cab sound system, allowing them to play their own music.
This is a great idea! Not only does it further promote and increase awareness of Spotify but it also offers Taxi Berlin a huge competitive advantage over other cab companies. I hope they adopt this idea into other countries. I do feel sorry for the poor cab drivers though!
